Nails: Dazzle Dry Me d’Forest Queen

Posted on: July 10, 2013

Yes. I am guilty. I have bought yet another bottle of Dazzle Dry lacquer. This one is from the Faerie Fantasy Summer Collection for 2013, called Me d’Forest Queen. How awesome is that shade name? It is a deep forest green that looks blackish from some angles. I got this from my June-July haul (link), and costs Php399 since I was still able to catch the sale. The sale is now over, and all (plain) lacquers are back to its original price of Php450. The glitter polishes from this collection are at Php500.

Check out Me d’Forest Queen on my nails. This is an indoor shot. It’s a very satisfying deep green, solid color and unabashedly green.

I decided to compare this against my other green DD, Polar Jade. Polar Jade is a frosted deep green, and the in-bottle color is very near Me d’Forest Queen.

I put Polar Jade on my pointer and ring fingers so that we can see it side by side with Me d’Forest Queen. This is the indoor shot. It’s quite obvious that Polar Jade is a lighter green, and the shimmer is obvious beside Me d’Forest Queen.

Which one do I like better? Neither. I love them both equally. I am very partial to green and these two really hit the spot. I would like to collect all the greens that Dazzle Dry has to offer, particularly Morning Dew from the Esnavi Collection. Alas, I am out of funds for a while and will not be buying any new ones for the foreseeable future.

What do you think of this shade?

I never tried greens, thanks for posting about this, I think I should try greens as well. 🙂 btw, nice fingernails.

Thanks! I really like the Dazzle Dry system, it helps in keeping my nails healthy.

I bet I should try it too, thanks for sharing about it 🙂 Love to have nice fingernails like yours

I like forest greens too! It looks great on fair skin but it’s not as intense as black.

Agree! I’m still afraid of wearing black on my nails, but this dark green is quite okay.

hi pat 🙂 your nails look enchanting 😀 idk why forest green reminds me of fairies and enchanted forest haha. ive never heard of this brand, its a bit expensive tho. but i think it would look great with gold glitters sa tips nung nails ^^

Hi Shayne, thanks! 🙂 That’s a great idea, I would definitely try it with gold glitters (I’ll just need to buy some, hehe). Yeah DD can be really expensive but it’s worth it! The drying time is almost non existent!
